Astoria Oregon

We are spending two nights at a KOA near Warrenton Oregon. Today we ran all over the Oregon coast doing tourist things. First, we ran up to Astoria to check out this pretty coastal town. We even got close to the “Gooney” house, but apparently, past behavior by over zealous fans, queered the deal for the rest of us, and you can no longer get close to it. We did get to see this chunk of a tree murdered in 1937. It was over 600 years old. 

Next, we ran south an hour to get a ”Pronto Pup” at supposedly the original stand in Rockaway Beach.

Next was a visit to the famous creamery in Telamook.  Tomorrow, on to Washington State!
