Lake Erie

Tammy, Sirius and I went to Erie Pennsylvania on Friday, just to take a look around. We had four days off before we started our last week in Pennsylvania, and Erie was just 40 minutes north. Presque Isle State Park was the destination. A beach and wildlife area that jutted out into the lake, it boasted sandy beaches and trails, and seemed like a perfect spot.

To get to the beach, we had to drive four miles through the park on a tree lined four lane road. It was all very pretty and peaceful. Arriving at the beach area, we followed a narrow path and emerged onto a large beach with water as far as we could see. Sirius made straight for the water. It was all very deserted and quiet. Just perfect!
