The Big Limestone Stir

Having an extra day to spend in Rawlins, Wyoming, I explored the town on foot, and found the original Wyoming State Penitentiary. Constructed in 1893, it housed prisoners until it was finally closed in 1981, when a new penitentiary was constructed south of town and the prisoners were transferred there.
