The Overlook Hotel
On the shoulders of Mt. Hood, there is a hotel, dating, I believe, to the 1930’s. It’s called Timberline Lodge. There is year-round skiing and mountain biking in the summer. Lisa informed us that the exteriors for “The Shining” were filmed there.
